SUMMARY:Poetry Competition Evening 2015
DESCRIPTION:The competition evening took place on Tuesday 27th October at o
 ur new venue for the evening 'The Red House' on the A37 1 mile South of Y
 eovil. We had to switch venue at short notice due to the closure of the He
 lyar Arms.  It was a well attended and enjoyable meeting with the picture
 s featured by the poems projected onto a screen.  Several members of the 
 Yeovil Art Group also attended as their pictures were featured in the comp
 etition poems.  Our judge\, artist Jane MacKey\, gave an excellent resume
  of the 10 top poems.  The competition winner was Juliet Lacey with her p
 oem "Autimn walk : Charcoal"- see our competitions page.
